An introduction
Hi! I'm Sofia, your acupuncturist. I was born and raised in the country side of Sweden and an Ojai resident since 2016. I hold a Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a license to practice Acupuncture in California.
I was in my mid twenties when I decided that I wanted to use my natural sensitivity to help people. This lead me to enroll in acupuncture school and over four years learn the complex system of Chinese diagnostics and treatment with acupuncture and Chinese herbs. Since then I have developed my own style, mixing my favorite approaches to help people transform their physical, mental, and emotional health.
I’m humbled every day by how this ancient medicine yields results for so many different ailments. There really is no limit to the healing potential in us human beings, and I absolutely love being a part of the process.
